Sorry for the late reply, but no nothing new. Except a whole bunch of external hemorrhoid repairs and anal fistulas. Fixed a pretty bad rectal prolapse too, along with assisting on a vaginal-to-anal tear on a woman who was giving birth to (a big big) baby. Still no women though… Like you guys say in this forum: Forever Alone!!

A fissure is a kind of small crack or tear around the anal area. It is not always visible but hurts a great deal when you try to go to the bathroom. Using a healing lubricant like Anisol and wiping with damp soft cloths like baby wipes can help them heal. Internal hemorrhoids are often remedied by using a stool softener and an internal lubricant. If you have either one of these I doubt you will need a colonoscopy. But if you do choose to take the twilight sedation. It will simply put you under in such a way that you will not remember anything of your experience during the procedure but you will come out of it quite easily. As if you had just waken up from a long nap. Someone should always be with you during this period of time because you probably won't remember what the doctor tells you afterwards.

Hello El,
I asked myself exactly that same question when I had hemorrhoids. In my case, they did not last for life. Mine was an internal grade hemorrhoids also. The doctor prescribed suppositories but that was only a temporary solution because it did not address the root causes of hemorrhoids. After researching for several months, I came upon this website that finally gave me a permanent cure for my hemorrhoids:
Hope that helps.

personally ,i think that the use of a q-tip is complicated since your own hole,(unless of a mirror)is much easier and simple to buy a cream that the tips has several holes (a few in the market) so when squeezy the cream gos in all direction in the rectum….sorry doctor….looks good on a paper but not efective in reality..1
