Is hemorrhoidectomy as painful as cesarean section?
My husband had a hemorrhoidectomy a week and 4 days ago and he still walks like he just gave birth. The first week was very depressing because he was moaning all day and night and the problem is he wants to have someone beside him all the time. He didn't want to walk or do anything. He just lay in bed waiting for the pain to strike again. I told him to try to watch his favorite movie while laying in bed or listen to the radio just to keep his mind away from pain but he got mad at me.
Which is painful? I had 3 C-sections and they were painful but I was not moaning all day and night. Is hemorrhoidectomy more painful than C-section? Or is it the person's pain threshold?
...there is no way that your husband's pain is worse than that of having a csection!!!
...women are just way better at dealing with pain!!!
...and i know i was given morphine after mine(as i'm sure you were given after yours)
but...he most likely doesn't have anything stronger than vicodin or percocet!!!
