Hoodia comes from the Hoodia Gordonii plant which is a leafless plant that is found in South America. Its appetite suppressing qualities were first discovered by the native bush men. Due to their life style, they often had to go months without food, so with hoodia gordonii, they at least felt like they weren't starving!.
Now if you are interested in taking the Hoodia Gordonii yourself, as it is readily available as a diet aid these days, there are just a few things that you are going to want to do first, first, you should educate yourself about the possible effects that taking hoodia can have on you.
Side Effects
There are a few commonly experienced Hoodia side effects. Headaches are one, and the majority of Hoodia users reported experiencing a headache at least once a week after they began using the Hoodia. Even with the Hoodia patch you are going to get some Hoodia patch side effects and so it doesn’t matter what form you take the Hoodia in, if you are taking it then you are going to most likely experience at least a few Hoodia side effects.
Another of the most commonly experienced Hoodia side effects is bloating. Just as when you eat foods that are high in fiber and which help you to stay feeling full for longer, when you take the Hoodia you will sometimes feel a sensation of bloating, which may even be so bad that you feel as though you can hardly do up your pants.
Dealing With Them
Now that you are aware of what the most commonly experienced Hoodia side effects are, it is really just a matter of you learning how to deal with them. If you find that the Hoodia is in fact working and helping you to shed those unwanted pounds, then of course you are not going to want to have to get off of it just because you may be experiencing some unfavorable symptoms.
But then at the same time you are not going to want to live a completely uncomfortable and painful life, and so you are going to have to know how to deal with them.
It's always wirth experimenting with taking your hoodia at different times durig the day to see how that effects you.
