External hemorrhoids cause most of the symptoms associated with hemorrhoids pain, burning, and itching because the skin around them is very sensitive.

Hemorrhoid is the swelling and inflammation of the veins (vein) in the rectum or anal area. And an estimated 50-85% of the world population will experience symptoms of hemorrhoids in a particular period in his life.

The causes of hemorrhoids: Hemorrhoids can be derived by genetics, or because it is weak veins in the rectum or anus, or also can be caused by too frequent and strong straining (difficulty defecating or diarrhea). Sitting too long can also cause hemorrhoids. Hypertension (high blood pressure), obesity (overweight), and a lazy lifestyle (inactive) is also one of the founder of hemorrhoids. Consumption of alcohol and coffee in large quantities and often also one of the trigger factors. Alcohol can cause liver disease that will eventually lead to blockage of blood vessels in the rectum or anus, while consuming too much coffee can cause hypertension. State of dehydration (lack of fluids) can also be a factor. Dehydration can cause hard stools and difficulty defecating. Vitamin E deficiency is another factor.

Hemorrhoid divided into 2 types:

External Hemorrhoid

Hemorrhoids are arising in the anal area named Verge, namely the tip area of the anal canal (anus). These types of hemorrhoids can be seen from the outside without using any tools. Usually will cause pain. Swelling and irritation can occur.

Internal Hemorrhoid

Hemorrhoids that appear in the rectum. Usually this kind of painless hemorrhoid. So most people do not realize this if you have hemorrhoids. Bleeding can occur if the experience irritation. Bleeding happens to be dripping. If this type of hemorrhoids are not treated, it will become prolapsed and strangulated hemorrhoids.
