Breastfeeding, and leaking!?
So my baby is just over a week old, and I have been breastfeeding, but resorted more torwards the pump as my breast have been very engourged, and baby has not been latching on as easily. I have been wearing nursing pads, and every morning, i wake up in a pile of milk! My top is completely wet, and the towel i have been sleeping on is soaked every morning. What can i do.. i know the leaking is normal, but is tehre anything that i can do to help control it?
If you are feeding the baby with a bottle after pumping this will only worsen his latching problems! Your supply will even itself out pretty soon and you will leak less at night. I had the same problem in the beginning.
