Can a person be a liberal if they think every law-abiding citizen should have a gun and carry it on them?
If you believe in universal health care and gay marriage as well, are you just thrown into the pile with the rest of the stinking liberals?
Or should I ask, would you call them a liberal?

The vast majority of ‘liberals’ support the right to own guns.
I’m as liberal as they come…..Nader liberal. I own guns, grew up with them, shot them while serving in the Army (very big ones) and hunt to this day with bow and gun.
I’ve hunted (& mostly charter fished) in Palin country, Alasaka, as a matter of fact.
I am absolutely certain our country needs universal health care AND should leave everyone to do what they want, even it if means bonking the same sex, so long as it’s consenting adults…..that’s what’s freedom is about. That’s what Veterans died for., and the price of freedom to the rest of us is that everyone else is free….deal with it.
