Piles! How long would they take to shrink?
Hey all. I have a nasty case of external piles at the moment (I say nasty as there is 1 huge external one). I went to my doctor and she prescribed Xyloproct, but despite using this 3 times a day for the past 4 days, the pile has not shrunk or shown any sign of disappearing.
Does anyone know how long is a reasonable amount of time to expect the xyloproct to start working? I was expecting to see something happen after 3 or 4 days, but so far nothing!

In terms of it shrinking, you can always try placing ice or a cold compress on the area, as it may just be a swelling. If that doesn't work, then eat for fiber and drink more water in combination with the icepack
