I do not know how to recieve help for my medical bills.?

Medicaid will not help me because I am not pregnant nor do I have a minor child. I have no idea how to pay these bills, no insurance company will cover me because of my pre-existing condition. Someone please help me these bills just keep piling up.

Speak to your financial department at the hospital or medical centre where these bills are piling up. Set up a payment plan that is comfortable for you..not one that makes them happy and ends up crippling you. As long as you're making a payment, even if it's as small as $5 a month, you're holding up your end of the bargain and they can't complain. If they start to harrass you then consult a lawyer because that is illegal.

Hemorrhoids are little bumps that may protrude out of your anus and this can be itchy and painful. At some times, it can also lead to bleeding. These bumps are actually blood vessels that are swollen, most likely because of too much straining during bowel movements.

If you are constipated, there is also a higher tendency of developing hemorrhoids. In fact, some can have hemorrhoids after a bout with constipation, when you tend to strain during bowel movement. If you are suffering from such painful and itchy condition, here are a few things that can help in getting rid of hemorrhoids.

Change in Lifestyle

One of the best ways to help you in getting rid of hemorrhoids is to have a change in your lifestyle. Constipation, which can most often lead to hemorrhoids can be remedied by incorporating regular exercise into your daily routine.

A sedentary lifestyle can also be a major cause for constipation to occur, thus make sure that you have regular exercise, you avoid sitting for too long, and have a 30 minute walk every morning.

Drink plenty of water. Drinking a lot of water each day helps you relieve from constipation which is one of the reasons why hemorrhoids can happen, and can worsen it as well if you already have been experiencing hemorrhoids. If you have hemorrhoids, make sure that you take care of your digestive process and make it easier as possible so that you will avoid straining that may worsen your condition.

Switch into a high-fiber diet and cut down on meat and meat products. A high-fiber diet helps in moving stool with ease and helps you fight constipation as well.

Warm Bath or Sitz Bath

Have warm baths several times a day for about 10 minutes. This will help relieve the pain and reduce the swelling of the blood vessels as well. You can have a warm tub bath or do a sitz bath. A sitz bath is sitting in warm water that covers your bottom up to the buttocks. A shallow bucket is usually used in a sitz bath and at times salt is added, depending as well on the recommendation of your doctor.

Herbs

Herbal remedies are also available to help you in getting rid of hemorrhoids. However, it is important that you do a thorough research on the herbs that you are using or consult a good herbalist that is an expert in the field.

The Butcher's broom is one herb that helps with hemorrhoids and even varicose veins as it helps strengthen the veins and reduce the swelling of your hemorrhoids. Aloe vera is another herb that helps relieve the pain and swelling of your hemorrhoids. When using the aloe vera, the aloe vera plant is best but you can also find organic 100% aloe gel as an alternative if you can't find the plant. Another good herb for hemorrhoids is Bilberry which also helps in reducing the swelling.

Keep these tips in getting rid of hemorrhoids and make sure you seek treatment early to avoid worsening of the problem.

Take the time to compare options when buying a power wheelchair; it is an important purchase and you need to take several factors into account. Different models are best for different disabilities, different spaces through which the user normally moves, and different budgets, including contributions from insurance or Medicare.

Electric wheelchairs offer mobility for the disabled without the strain of pushing a wheelchair. If you are unable to use a manual wheelchair because of your disability, an electric wheelchair may be the only option to achieve independent mobility. Many models of electric wheelchair come with a certain level of clearance, and are capable of crossing thresholds of up to three inches, permitting you to pass through raised doorways and making these products more useful than manual wheelchairs.

Travel wheelchairs make traveling more convenient, especially if you travel frequently. These lightweight models can be taken by car or airplane, disassembling or folding to save space. You can purchase a loading mechanism to put a heavier wheelchair in the back of a vehicle. A travel wheelchair may not be right for you if you do not travel frequently, or if you need a larger wheelchair for your weight, but wheelchair rental services are available for travelers.

If you weigh more than a certain amount, you may need a heavy-duty wheelchair. Wheelchairs can be purchased with varying maximum weight support; heavy-duty units can carry 400, 500, or even 600-675 pounds. An average electric wheelchair can carry 250-300 pounds. Heavy-duty wheelchairs are more expensive, but Medicare or insurance may cover the cost.

Some higher-end wheelchairs are not covered by Medicare or insurance. You should only buy one of these wheelchairs if you are not covered by Medicare or insurance, if you have the money to buy your favorite higher-end model, or if you physically require a specific model which is not covered. Some businesses will take care of the Medicare paperwork for you at no extra cost, so be sure to ask them which products are covered.

Power scooters are more economical, and can be an excellent choice for people with impaired mobility. These units are bulkier, and you may not be able to navigate them in your home, but if you can get around your own home using a cane, a power scooter can provide greater mobility outside. If you are disabled and are looking for an economic way to travel without having to push a wheelchair, you can use a power scooter and leave the wheelchair at home.

A power wheelchair is an important investment. You can't ask for a replacement from your insurance company or Medicare for several years after purchasing one, so make sure you get the one that best meets your needs. Ask your doctor or physical therapist for help in making this decision.

Hemorrhoids? I was taking a dump and wiped my butt and felt this bump.?

My Dump has been hard from one day last week, yesterday and today was a little softer. I have been taking my time pushing it out and etc. Mine is not hanging out. It goes back in after I finished. So is there any prevention to do for it won’t come out again? It doesn’t burn or anything. I use this little thing and stick it in my hole just to prevent it. I am not bleeding or anything. So what can I do to prevent it from happening again? BTW I am only 19.

Some of the symptoms of hemmorrhoids are:

bright red blood covering the stool,
painful swelling around the anus,
hard lump around the anus,
fissures,
fistulae,
abscesses,
irritation and itching (pruritus ani).

Excessive straining, rubbing or cleaning the anus may worsen symptoms.

Hemorrhoids are caused by too much pressure in the rectum, forcing blood to stretch and bulge the walls of the veins. Sometimes the pressure ruptures the veins.

Medical treatment of hemorrhoids initially is aimed at relieving symptoms. Symptoms can be reduced by: sitting in a a warm tub, Ice packs (to help reduce swelling), usage of a hemorrhoidal cream. Increasing fiber and fluids in the diet will also help (makes softer stool).

In some cases, hemorrhoids must be treated surgically. The doctor will shrink and destroy the hemorrhoidal tissue.

Adding fiber to your diet

If you suddenly add large amounts of fiber to your diet, you may experience bloating, diarrhea, and severe stomach cramping. It is best to add fiber to your diet gradually, eating small amounts of fiber rich foods. Additional fiber can be added slowly until you are consuming a healthy amount.

Genital warts???

My friend told me that ever since she had sex with her now ex bf, she noticed a few bumps in and outside of the genital area as well as having one on her butt, thigh (which left a scar), and thinking she had hemoroids a few times. She notices them while she has her period and sometimes after. It's only up to 3 bumps or less that don't itch, but hurt a little. These bumps are usually pink. The one on her butt was a big, hard, almost purple color. She went to the doctor for a pap smear which came back normal and she got tested for HIV and she's clean. She also noticed a weird smell that lasted for about a month several months ago.. She's only been with one guy. She thinks it could be because when she showers, she sometimes leaves body wash in there for up to 5 min or longer before rinsing cuz then she shaves her legs. She doesn't shave down there, only trims so that leaves out razor burn. Could this be genital warts or something else?

did she go to the doctor when these bumps were occuring ?
it could be herpes and they can only tell that when an outbreak is happening, they scrape the sore and test it ...tell her to see a doctor immediately during a breakout of the sores

she could be causing the smell ....wearing too tight jeans cause infections because they make it very very warm and there is no air circulation ....you should never put anything up into yourself and leave it for any length of time...you change the balance of the good and bad bacteria which normally occurs and you end up with a vaginal infection...even douching too much is not good for you ....
here is a website that might helps her

hope some of this helps )

Hemorrhoids need to shrink before it could fall off on its own. Although some hemorrhoids heal on its own, it would take weeks before it does. To speed up healing, you can promote hemorrhoids to shrink by performing a few simple steps.

1) Take several warm baths every day to cleanse the area and reduce inflammation. Never use scented or colored soap as this may irritate the hemorrhoids.

2) Every time your hemorrhoids start to itch, use over-the-counter gels or creams designed to soothe itchiness and promote healing.

3) Use cushions at the office, while driving, when watching TV and wherever you would sit to prevent giving pressure to the hemorrhoid.

4) When going to the toilet, step on a six-inch stool that can help you reduce straining while making a bowel movement.

5) If pain persists, take anti-inflammatory drugs or pain relievers to reduce discomfort.

6) If you suffer from external hemorrhoids, apply apple cider vinegar several times a day to reduce swelling.

7) Don't use toilet paper after taking a dump because it may irritate the swollen areas. Use wet wipes or take a bath after you make a bowel movement.

Drink at least eight glasses of water daily to avoid constipation.

9) If you have external hemorrhoids, you can apply cayenne pepper directly on the area to shrink hemorrhoids.

10) Avoid eating nuts and spicy foods because these products can aggravate bowels.

11) Stop drinking alcohol and caffeinated drinks to prevent irritations of the hemorrhoids.
